As an organic dairy, we are passionately committed to sustainability. We work tirelessly towards this goal and take the necessary responsibility. In our endeavours, we have taken numerous measures to ensure that our products are not only of high quality, but also respect the environment. These include reducing our energy consumption, promoting regional supply chains and protecting biodiversity in our surroundings.
Wood chip heating
When it comes to heat generation, we rely on an economically and ecologically sensible technology. Wood is considered a sustainable energy source and a first-class source of energy. Part of our required energy is provided by a wood chip heating system, which is fuelled by wood chips from the surrounding forests of Bischofszell.
Photovoltaic system
The 204 solar modules on the roof of the dairy provide electricity for processing and cooling. We attach great importance to continuing to promote the increased use of green electricity and renewable energies in our company in the future.
Energy efficient production facilities
Thanks to the introduction of modern production systems, we can significantly increase our energy efficiency. These systems are more effective in their utilisation of resources and help to reduce our energy consumption. Investing in modern technologies not only pays off economically, but also makes an important contribution to environmental protection.
